Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights 2023

Universal Studios is turning ‘The Last of Us’ game into Halloween Horror Nights haunted house.

It’s happening! Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort will kick off on Friday, September 1, 2023.

The PlayStation video game, The Last of Us, introduced a decade ago, creates a world where Joel and Ellie must contend with a fungal virus that turns humans into “the infected”.

According to Universal, the house will include scenes from the Pittsburgh Quarantine Zone, the Hotel Grand and a series of “dark and dank tunnels.”

Not a gamer, no problem, be sure to watch the television adaptation of the game, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, that debuted on HBO and HBO Max in January.

Halloween Horror Nights will run on select nights beginning Sept. 1 and October 31, 2023.

· Sept. 1-3, 6-10, 13-17, 20-24, 27-30

· Oct. 1, 4-8, 11-15, 18-22, 25-29, 31

It is a specially ticketed, after-hours event that is not included with standard theme park admission. Single-night HHN tickets start at $79.99 for Universal Orlando.
